About us

The Gathering Place’s mission is to empower, elevate, and encourage, uplift the spirits of those who come in our presence and to give each person a reason to hope. It is said human beings can live for forty days without food, four days without water, and four minutes without air. But we cannot live for four seconds without hope. Hope is what we give through Jesus Christ.

The Gathering Place-Beyond the Walls, Inc.
The ministry was established in 2020 during the height of COVID. It began as an online ministry and expanded beyond the walls as we moved into post-COVID to the community. Since its inception, the ministry has grown both spiritually and physically. The ministry online outreach is heard weekly on Sundays and Tuesdays. Along with 3 weekly face-to face sessions in the Bibb-Macon Community. The ministry can be seen at Loaves and Fishes, Daybreak, Ebenezar Church during the week. Most recently the ministry has expanded to both online and in-person Sunday services. As the ministry continues to stand on the promises of the Lord, it has acquired two vans for transporting people to the ministry. These vans were donated to us by a church family that heard about the work we are doing in the community.

The Ministry Foundational Scriptures:
The foundation of our ministry is built on the principles found in Matthew 28:19-20, Matthew 25:35-40, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, Acts 1:8, Galatians 5:22-23, which leads to 2 Corinthians 5:20.

Our Goal:
In our daily lives, we strive to reflect God’s values, interests, and lifestyle by aligning ourselves with Biblical principles and the truth of the Word. In essence, our focus is on Evangelism and Discipleship.

Our Mission Statement:
Our mission is defined by the four E's:
